We have a daughter that is now in the 4th grade. She has been there since kindergarten. She has excelled very well to all A's and B's when she was having troubles academically the teacher stepped in and helped her and bought her grades up. I would recommend Richey to any and all of the parents. The office staff, cafeteria staff, the clinic staff and the teaching staff have all be excellent.

Hello... I have one child who I am very happy to say attends Richey Elementary School. He is in the 1st grade with an emphasis on a higher learning aspect, which is a wonderful program that targets those children who have the desire to be challenged. The teachers and the administrative staff at Richey are always trying to excel in their fields for the betterment of the students first and foremost. I am an avid fan of The Place Program at Richey, they offer the students the opportunity to prepare for the day and of course the nice wind down after school with their friends, continued activities and fun for everyone, nicely supervised, with a family atmosphere. We will continue to attend Richey, by choice! Thanks, Debi

I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of education, parent involvement, and teacher concern. I recently moved to NPR, and had heard it was a rough neighborhood. There is a bit of that element here, but we have found everyone is pretty much like us. We all just want the best opportunities for our children.

I have three children attending this school and am very pleased. The teachers are kind, professional and show a genuine interest in my children s success. The class sizes are small which definitely makes a difference. My only wish is that they would offer more extra-curricular activities as well as add Spanish to its regular curriculum.

Richey Elementary is a wonderful school. I had alot of negativity from other parents before moving into this school district. But Mrs. Grice, Mrs. Durmire, Office Staff and Mrs. Hoskins are wonderful, caring and compasionate people. I am looking forward to another year at Richey Debbie Covert

My child did not get challenged enough with one teacher; therefore they moved her to another class and she excelled. My daughter was doing above in math, but needed help with reading. The teacher went above and beyond by putting her in an extra reading class a couple times a week, and even personally reading with her. She helped boost her confidence as well. Mrs. Diethart is very thorough- with spelling and homework- highly recommended. w/ excellent communication skills between teacher and parent. I would recommend school; fore staff in office was sufficient, and the resources like library are nice.

Ms. Davis is the best guidance counselor. She really cares. Ms. Miller truly is 'teacher of the year'. Ms. Shimkat works wonders with 'special needs' students. I only wish more 'male teachers' were available. Overall, Richey is a great school.
